Crafting and shipping times

Each VERDI rug is handwoven in Colombia and takes 12-16 weeks to craft, depending on design and customization.

Shipping times vary by destination; air and sea freight are available at extra cost. Timelines may shift to ensure the highest quality. Please contact a VERDI sales associate for a custom quote.

General Guidelines

Never use bleach, ammonia, or harsh chemicals.
Always test clean products on a hidden area first, we recommend the bottom part of the border.
Let rugs air-dry if wet, or apply a cool fan—never fold or roll while damp.
Natural materials may carry a slight, temporary scent. Use baking soda-based deodorizer if needed.
Avoid hot objects or open flames near the rug.
Optional Stain Protectant coating helps your rug resist spills and wear, keeping it looking its best for longer.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Vacuuming

Vacuum twice a week with the brush turned off and suction on low.
Avoid vacuuming borders and never use stiff-bristled brooms.
A soft broom or gentle sweep is ideal for dust removal.
After vacuuming, if necessary, pat the surface with a damp towel to lift excess dirt.

Sunlight & Furniture

Natural fibers may fade with direct sun exposure. Rotate your rug periodically.
Always lift furniture—never drag—to prevent fiber and metal distortion.

Loose Threads

If a fiber or metal thread loosens, do not pull. Gently trim with sharp scissors and tuck the end into the weave.
